Behavioral Health Services

November 1st, 2015 Pike County Health Department, Home Health & Hospice introduces Mental & Behavioral Health Services.

We have two social workers on staff who are very experienced and knowledgeable in their line of work and dedicated to helping our community. This program was established to provide behavioral health, case management, and substance abuse services to children, adolescents, and adults in Pike County who are

  • Uninsured
  • Under insured
  • Under-served

Our goal is to enhance accessibility to behavioral health and substance abuse services to residents of Pike County that may be otherwise unable to access quality care. Contact us today to find out more!

We assist in establishing referrals and care coordination with current community resources. The project may provide outpatient services including mental health screening and initial assessment, Psychotherapy, individual and group counseling, substance abuse services and will collaborate with primary care providers and community resources.

We have the flexibility to offer outreach throughout the community, as well as visit patient’s home if needed. All services are provided by mental health professionals licensed/certified to provide professional mental health and substance abuse programs.

This initiative is in partnership with various community partners and is ready to serve you. Also in partner with Healthy Minds Healthy Lives of Pike County along with other organizations, this behavioral service helps the people of Pike County to recognize the importance of mental health, increase their knowledge and ability to seek help, and lead high quality, meaningful lives.

If you or someone you know is facing emotional or substance use concerns please know that our experienced staff are available and ready to serve you.

Mental Health Awareness Support Group

This group meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month, at 6:00 p.m. in our Community Conference Room (side entrance).

This group is to encourage positive mental health awareness. This group is open to individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, substance issues, grief issues, difficulties managing/coping with stressors, etc.

This support group is open to all individuals who are interested in bringing awareness to their own mental health, searching to find support and encouragement while gaining this awareness, and to those that are willing to support us in this journey.

As a catalyst for change, the Foundation improves the health of Missourians through a combination of partnership, experience, knowledge and funding.”
