On-Site Wastewater Treatment System Permit Application

Description

This Sewage/Septic Permit is necessary if a home is built on 3 acres or less in Pike County. This ensures that the sewage system is installed correctly by a state registered sewage installer.

If a home is built on more than 3 acres it is only exempt from the permit. Therefore, a proper sewage system must still be installed. A sewage permit may still be obtained for a home built on more than 3 acres for the sewage system to be approved.
