The Pike County Health Department is making important updates to better serve our community. Due to recent staffing changes—and to ensure our services are clear, consistent, and efficient—we are restructuring some of our programs.
…
As part of this improvement, we are retiring the term “Walk-In Clinic” and transitioning to: Public Health Nursing Services
…
The former “walk-in” title often led to confusion, with some visitors expecting physician visits or physicals. Our nursing team provides essential public health services, but not doctor-based primary care. This new name better reflects what we offer and helps set clear expectations for those seeking care.
…

Appointments Required for ALL Services
To improve efficiency, reduce wait times, and ensure every individual receives the appropriate care, appointments are now required for all services.
We are unfortunately no longer able to accept walk-ins at this time.
…
In addition to these updates, our Monthly Mobile Nursing Services are cancelled until further notice.
