CDC and FDA have recommended that use of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen (J&J/Janssen) COVID-19 Vaccine resume in the United States, effective April 23, 2021. However, women younger than 50 years old should be aware of the rare risk of blood clots with low platelets after vaccination, and that other COVID-19 vaccines are available where this risk has not been seen. For those ineterested, we are scheduling two mass clinics to be held at the Church of the Nazarene, 807 South Court Street, Bowling Green MO 63334. These clinics will be on Tuesday, May 4th 1-6pm & on Wednesday, May 12th 9am-2pm. We have also began offering the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine in our office on Wednesday afternoons.
