St. Louis Marine combat veteran, attorney and businessman Chris Lozano of Halcyon Shades of St. Louis has graciously donated 100 face shields to our community healthcare professionals. Our agency as well as Pike County Memorial Hospital are the proud recipients of this donation and would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Lozano and his staff.

“Mr. Lozano has served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, did tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan, plays guitar in a band, and is an Attorney who does Special Public Defender work for almost no charge.  He is just a neat guy and it would be nice if the community knew this guy does so much for our local community both in court and now with our Hospital and Health Department.” Said Milan Berry, Associate Circuit Court Judge of Pike County. Judge Berry assisted Mr. Lozano in locating facilities in our community for distribution of the face shields that will be distributed this week.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reports that the PPE supply chain shortage is nation-wide and that they have very limited quantities and types of PPE items to support healthcare’s needs. As the need arises for PPE in Pike County, Pike County Health Department Home Health & Hospice along with Pike County Memorial Hospital administration expresses their deepest thanks to Mr. Lozano for the donation in a time of need.
