A Night of Elegance, Compassion, and Community Support
This year’s Valentine Gala Fundraising Event was another incredible sold-out success, bringing together friends, families, supporters, and community partners for an unforgettable night devoted to sustaining the compassionate work of our Home Health & Hospice teams.
The Pike County Home Care & Hospice Foundation was created to fill the gap between the essential services our agency provides, and the expenses required to deliver them—such as staff education and training, patient equipment, and daily support for both patients and caregivers.
The Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit led by dedicated community members and staff who evaluate needs, plan fundraising, and guide responsible resource stewardship.
Event Highlights
Guests enjoyed an evening of fine dining, fellowship, and fundraising. The night featured:
- A formal dinner
- Silent and live auctions
- Multiple raffles, including items such as the Dutch Boy end table set (winner, Fern Grote), a high‑value mystery raffle valued at over $1,000 (winner, Danielle Orf), and the Golden Boy American Farmer 22LR (winner, Sean Flynn) — all of which helped elevate the excitement and generosity of the evening.
- Drawings held during the Gala on February 14th, adding to the night’s celebration.
